Units, these are gathered collections of Clanmates. These group activities are for community reasons, to ensure that enrichment and the close knittedness of the Clan holds true.

CATERAN

‘’Warmen, warrior.’’

Theme [Holmgang - JesperKyd]

Marshal and Sentry units, referred to as Cateran. They act as the main fighting collections for Eirmuir, though the Marshal is specifically used for protection and defense - the Sentrys’ task of becoming one with the land and fog makes them useful for the Cateran. These are the squadrons sent out before anyone else, preparing the rest of the pack time to get into defensive measures.

Though Eirmuir has not seen war, they are trained in groups to prepare on the off chance of war occurring. As a safety measure. The exercises the Cateran also can aid in bonding of the packmates and ensuring a tightly knitted group has formed.

Training:

• Daily runs through the highlands, regardless of what the weather is like, they must work through it.

• Walking through the heavy thick muck in the bog, the wolves need to be able to prove they manage through the harsher terrain.

• Skirmish spar training, more heavy footed than regular sparring - can result in flesh wounds that need treating.

Banshees

‘’Heralds of Death, Caoine of the Soulwards’’

Theme [Ladies of the Woods & Child of The Elder Blood - Witcher 3]

Unlike the Cateran, the Banshee units’ can be made up of any task. The Tiderippers and Gravesingers tend to make up most of the numbers, as they already have experience with singing from the soul. They typically take up residence within the chambers of the Seaheart - a chamber within the Sea Hollow where crystals surround them. Thin strips of light send rays of colour throughout the chamber, once it reflects off of the crystal rocks.

The singing that takes place within this gathering is not considered beautiful like most hymns, it is guttural, sounding more like Keening that takes place at funerals of the dead.

The wolves sing as a bonding exercise, as well as to rid themselves of painful emotion. Often wolves who have anger harbouring deep within themselves, find their path being led to participate in a Banshee Howl gathering.

Faire

‘’The Eyes and Minds of the Watchful Shadows.’’

Theme [Ahitar (feat. Kipinät-kuoro)]

Built up of mostly Sentry with Tiderippers kept for recordkeeping, the two polar opposite tasks balance one another in the Faire. Which is the collective Watch of the land. Wolves of the two ranks often gather together for patrols where they wish to lay in wait in designated spots in the land and see if anything changes.

There are no specific Faire units in Eirmuir as they change each day.
